According to a new study, women with PD experience more and worse pain than men with the neurodegenerative condition. Pain related to motor symptoms, mouth/facial pain and swelling are all more prevalent in women than in men. In men, for whom PD is more common and has an earlier onset, sexual dysfunction and muscle rigidity are more prevalent in men than women.
